Periodontology – a way to avoid periodontal problems<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When the structures surrounding the teeth are damaged, the maintenance of the teeth in the bone can be compromised, resulting in poorer dental function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Periodontal disease may be manifested by inflammation, red and bleeding gums and bad breath. In such cases, we begin the treatment phase, in which, depending on the severity of the disease, we choose simple or more complex and regenerative treatment. Then, we conduct a second stage, the so-called maintenance phase – as important as the treatment, which also requires appropriate action on the part of the patient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The gums are part of the tooth’s support system. If they are healthy, the teeth are stable, which guarantees that they fulfill their role properly. Healthy gums do not bleed. The severity of changes caused by bacteria in the periodontium depends on individual susceptibility. It may be genetically predetermined or result from general diseases the patient suffers from<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If left untreated, periodontal disease leads to tooth loss.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
